Artist Festival (free)

Saturday, July 18, 2009 (Rain or Shine)
9:00 am to 4:00 pm

From Real Life to Still Life

Many enjoyed the scenic back roads of Hadley on this self-guided tour of eleven beautiful gardens, three artist studios, an art festival
at a local historic church, and a food and rest stop at Barstow’s Longview Farm on Rt. 47.

Whether capturing Hadley’s beauty on canvas, by camera, in the creative designs of a quilt or jewelry; or by working in Hadley’s
famous soil creating flower and vegetable gardens, over 300 people from Hadley and area towns experienced creativity at its finest.
They visited and talked with the artists and gardeners at each location, stopping along the way to enjoy the bucolic views or have a picnic.
Several from nearby towns were heard to say "I never knew how beautiful Hadley was", as they saw one incredible vista after another.

Listen to Bill Dwight's interview of Debbie Windoloski and Steve Wilda on WHMP, now!
